As someone who isn't a fan of cow tongue, it was disappointing to order the carne asada chips and receive cow tongue instead.
With so many similar options on every block, I will not be coming back and I will not recommend.

We ordered 2 Oregon Burritos and 2 Horchatas and some green sauces. The food came out delicious, hot and fresh. Small thing but he actually delivered on the sauces. I have had countless times where other Shops will “forget”. This places doesn’t miss!

I've been going to Habeneros very frequently for 2 years. My favorite orders are Chile Relleno and Quesabirria.
I just finished my Quesabirria tonight and it was the best I've had. SO much flavor that hit just right. I've had similar experiences with Chili Relleno as well in the past.
Their beans are also my fav I've ever had and refried beans are a guilty pleasure so I often judge a place on how they prepare their beans.
I will admit, sometimes the food is amazing; blowing me away and a few times it's just good. I've wondered if it's different chefs cooking. But if it is one chef that makes the food above and beyond I would time my visits to make sure they're working when I visit.
Habeneros is worth a try certainly! Currently my favorite Mexican joint.

Had to try Habaneros one of the Mexican places I have not tried on 4th plain, close to i5. I ordered the 4 street taco plate with 2 carnitas tacos and 2 lengua tacos, both were bland and meat tasted a little too close or past expiration and was not impressed. Their hot sauce was really good however.. There are alot of good to great taco places on 4th plain which i frequent alot, and this was the least enjoyable tacos I've tried in the area. Even muchas Gracias which habaneros replaced was better.

Burrito supreme did have a little too much liquid dripping that it ripped at the bottom. But that didn't slow me down. Caritas were still so crispy and delicious. My wife had al pastor tacos so flavorful! Guacamole is more of a Guacamole sauce but still really good. We both agreed this is this is the top of mexican food around here we have been looking for. Can't wait to try other things from here.

The food was delicious and staff was very friendly. I ordered the birria and those tortillas were packed with meat and cheese. You can see the cook making the food fresh to order and it still came out pretty quickly. Theres a drive through option but we decided to dine in and the inside was clean and cozy. I highly recommend this spot for quick inexpensive and delicious authentic Mexican food

Unfortunately it wasnt what I was hoping for. The taco salad was super watery, had way too much guacamole and I just didn't enjoy the flavor. The salad shouldn't look like soup though, just saying. Also, they didnt salt or season the tater tots at all so just bland and not worth the $19 I spent here. Pretty disappointing.
